Comedians Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson are battling slut-shaming by having lots of sex and openly talking about it. “Guys We Fucked: The Anti Slut Shaming Podcast” series is changing the way we perceive female sexuality through hilarious, yet honest conversation. Each week the duo interviews someone they have slept with, be it an ex, a one-night-stand, or something in between — a great conversation starter in itself. Each person is sure to offer different insights and experiences.

Fisher came up with the genius concept during a difficult breakup.

“I had this John Cusack-like idea that if I went back and talked to different people I had slept with or had relationships with, I could figure out if I was doing something wrong,” she said.
After pitching the series to Stand Up NY Labs, their first podcast Vinnie: Can I Choke You? debuted in December.

“We’re saying have a lot of sex and be proud of it,” they said on that initial episode. “We wanted to do this podcast because we think that people should be able to talk about their sex lives intelligently and honestly and without feeling guilty.”
Their on-air chemistry is a clear result of Fisher and Hutchinson’s five-year friendship. (They are also the comedy duo behind Sorry About Last Night.) The show has garnered over 200,000 subscribers on SoundCloud.

When asked about the act of slut-shaming Fisher says,

“‘Oh, she’s such a slut’ is dropped so casually by men and women. And I don’t think you need to be the victim of something to recognize that it’s wrong and to fight against it. Sometimes it’s more powerful if it’s not the ‘sluts’ fighting against slut-shaming, but rather someone who’s just, ‘We need to be more supportive of one another.’ I think women call other women sluts a lot and that is terrible.”

Someone should tell Beyoncé and Sheryl Sandberg their list is incomplete. Check out the first episode below:
