The Internet can be a terrible place, but don't hide behind that as an excuse to avoid dealing with inappropriate, cruel, and awful commenters.
Our community is truly somethin' else.

Walkable neighborhoods are more functional and efficient to live in because their layout relates to how people actually live and move, not just how cars drive. Residents of walkable neighborhoods are healthier, happier and more involved with their communities.

Obviously I wasn’t to blame for her illness or her behavior, but would her attack have spiraled so deeply out of control if I hadn’t done what I reviled most and hid behind the mask the Internet affords to give her a taste of her own medicine?

It's frustrating that the biggest days for our respective communities are really depressing.
Or, how I met a bunch of people in my building and learned to foster community among urban renters.
Being in fandom feels like I have this huge crowd of people who have my back, and that’s pretty fantastic when you’re feeling down in the dumps, or you’re faced with a tough decision, or you really need help with something.
I went to see Harmontown at Sketchfest, and got a little fan-girly about it.
