"It Happened To Me" was born on the pages of Sassy magazine the same year that I was: 1988. Maybe it has someting to do with our shared birth year, but we really get along. Yes, I work at this website, but I still find myself curling up on rainy Saturdays for a serious IHTM binges where I eat popcorn, light some Nag, and blast Joanna Newsom.

What I love most about these pieces is that they don't always (or even most of the time) come from people that consider themselves writers; they come from people that want to share their stories.
