What xoJane Editors Want for Christmas: Hannah's Holiday Wishlist For Fancy Broads With No Budget

The holidays are fast approaching, and for the first time in a long time, I'm not really sure what I want. I pretty much have everything that I need, so everything else is sort of excessive. Being faced with the fun task to compose a holiday wishlist, I decided to get all fance-pants and pick things that nobody actually needs, but some of us (me, specifically) would totally love finding under the pink ornament decorated tree during their last Christmas before heading into the wonderful world of student debt.

Here you'll find some lovely little things that have recently struck my fancy, and might inspire you to treat yourself. Because we've all wrapped gifts topped with a tag that says, "TO: Me, FROM: Me," right? No? Just me?

  • Maurice Roucel's Musc Ravageur by Frederic Malle Perfumes ($100-$225, shop.fredericmalle.com)

This perfume is expensive, I get that. That's why it's a wishlist item. But the reason I picked it is because it smells amazing. Combining a mix of my favourite notes like bergamot, musk and amber, it's a heady blend completely lacking in cloyingly feminine florals. It's made to mix with the natural smell of your skin and just make you smell all-over incredibly sexy.

  • Agent Provocateur Seam & Heel Stockings ($50, agentprovocateur.com)

There's nothing more classically sexy to me than vintage-styled lingerie, and Agent Provocateur always does it right. Seamed stockings and a garter belt, despite being sometimes difficult to put on, offer instant confidence and make your legs look incredible. This sheer pair might end up getting torn on the first wear but hey, they look awesome.

  • Stella McCartney Knickers Of The Week Pack ($195, net-a-porter.com)

Who wouldn't want a perfectly organized box of adorable, floral-embroidered, lace-trimmed, days-of-the-week "knickers"? They're a grown-up version of a semi-childlike concept, which clearly speaks to me, someone teetering between adulthood and wanting to be a toddler again. A toddler with fancy underpants.

  • Guerlain Liquid Eyeliner in Noir Ebene ($35, nordstrom.com)

I love beauty products that are designed to be kept out on the bathroom sink or vanity, and this liquid liner falls into that category. Designed to look like a calligrapher's pen in a pot of ink, it looks super old-Hollywood-esque and will create a perfectly precise cat-eye. I'm also a bit of a magpie, so the shiny gold of the wand makes me covet it like Gollum craving the ring.

  • Bare Escentuals bareMinerals The Golden Touch brush set ($28, sephora.com)

Oh look, another shiny thing! I can't be crazy in my thinking that gold makes anything look glamorous. This brush set comes in a little metallic pouch and includes mini brushes for eye-lining, shadow, blush, and powder or bronzer. Perfect for throwing in your bag for an extra-fancy touch-up.

  • Fiorelli Roka Leather Zip-Around Long Bow Wallet ($63, asos.com)

I need a new wallet. The cute little coin purse-styled one I got from H&M many years ago is starting to show sings of wear and tear, so I've decided it's time to move on. This textured leather and gold(!) bow-detailed one from Fiorelli is cute, classic, and will carry my change, subway tokens, old movie ticket stubs, fortune cookie fortunes and other pack-rat nonsense.

  • Dior DiorShow Mascara Set ($28, sephora.com)

My number #1 and #2 favourite mascaras, conveniently packaged together and sold for the price of one. A full-size of Iconic, with one of the best brushes for lengthening and separating lashes, to keep in your bathroom for doing your make-up in the morning, and a mini of Extase to throw in your purse. They're both incredible formulas that will give you crazy-full, false-lash-style lashes that last until the end of the day.

  • Tarte's The Starlet Limited Edition Make-Up Vanity ($52, sephora.com)

This shiny, mirrored case resembles a jewelry box (and can be reused as one, if you take the make-up out) and contains a veritable smorgasbord of natural beauty products (worth $505) including 24 eyeshadows, bronzer, blush, lash primer and mascara. It's really all you need for everyday colour and great going out looks. And it would look so good on my little mirrored side table. Who's buyin'?
