I did my own version of Libertine's NYFW nails using all drugstore products.

So I couldn’t let NYFW pass me by without even attempting the nail art seen at Libertine. It’s so Glitz ‘N’ Glam, I can’t even handle it. Butter London ambassador Katie Hughes created the look with a gold polish (available from Butter this summer) and glued-on crystals. I did my own version using all drugstore products. This way, you can get the look cheaply and easily -- you’re welcome!

P.S. This is really hard to type right now. Ladies who always have long nails: how?

Ta-da! Doing my best “hand model”

You’ll need:

• Press-on nails -- any French manicure kind will do.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Golden (or any opaque gold polish you have lying around)

KISS Nail Artist 3D Charms

Now onto the method. The whole process felt more like crafting to me than anything else. First, you gotta paint the press-on nails gold. I let mine dry overnight just to be safe! Then I added 3-4 colored charms to the base of each nail using the Kiss set. It comes with the glue, so you’re good to go.

I let the charms dry for a couple hours before actually putting the nails on. And now, voila! The whole look is kind of Pretty Pretty Princess sexy. That’s a thing, I think.

To remove, just soak your nails in warm water for 10-15 minutes. The glue will loosen and you can pop ‘em right off.

So what do you think? Would you rock these bedazzled nails a lá the models at Libertine? Or have I just gone crazy in the face of press-on jewels?? I know you’ll be honest.
