Here's the second in a series of posts one of our sponsors has asked me to write, about the things we're talking about in the office this week.
Here's the thing: I’m a terrible at beauty stuff. I always pick at my blocked pores until they become massive spots, I never exfoliate and I’m useless about drinking enough water. BUT, the one thing I’ve always done, like clockwork, is take my makeup off at night.
I’ve never had great skin, so the thought of going to sleep at night with my stupid oversized pores clogged full of make up is bleugh. It’s also a sure-fire way to ruin a perfectly good pillowcase.
I will (disgustingly) neglect to brush my teeth, I might even go to sleep with my dress (and coat and shoes) still on, after a particularly long evening. But I always, always take my makeup off before I crash out.
And you know what? Waking up without half a tube of mascara running down my face makes that early morning after a late night just a tiny bit more bearable.
