How-To: Emma Stone's Mod Eyes and Retro Hair

I decided that, with my new hair, I'd try out the look of a red-headed lady for my next celebrity look. Emma Stone's style at the "Friends With Benefits" premiere immediately stood out. I dug the graphic winged black liner, simple but retro-ish updo, and bright pink lipstick.

Admittedly, with the heat, my style fell a bit flat. Seriously, it feels like I'm stuck in Hell at this present moment in time. Not having central air is torture. I want to sleep in the basement freezer tonight, like a vampire in a make shift casket ... I swear ...

Anyway! Back to the beauty stuff. The products I used to get this make-up look included NYC's IndividualEyes for Green Eyes Palette ($4.99, drugstores), Dior's DiorAddict lipstick in Dior Kiss ($28, sephora.com) and Diorshow Extase Mascara in Black ($28, sephora.com), and Urban Decay's Glide-On Cheek Tint in Quickie ($24, sephora.com).

For That Winged Liner ...

1. I covered my entire lid with the primer included in the NYC palette, then applied the beige shadow all over my lid, followed by the highlighter on top and on my browbones.

2. Next, I used a sharpened black eyeliner pencil to line my upper lashline completely, and smudged a bit along my lower waterline as well.

3. Finally, I used my mascara-as-liner technique to make a winged edge with a fine-tipped eyeliner brush.

I applied the Urban Decay blush to the apples of my cheeks, and smudged a bit on my lips too. Then I applied the Dior lipstick over the top and I was done!
