Pam

A Virginia Beach native, Pam is a freelance writer now living in a Brooklyn brownstone neighborhood almost exactly like the one she had on her vision board last year (yes, she's New Agey like that!) when she was still living down South. She used to blog for a magazine in Virginia about relationships, even though she's probably the LAST person you want romantic advice from. Her guilty pleasure is going to psychics and astrologers, getting pretty accurate readings, and then willfully ignoring the best of their advice...just to see if she can.

What I do, job-wise: analyze numbers and info, and use Excel like a maniac

What I do, fun-wise: I read a LOT, watch old movies with my favorite dreamboats Cary Grant and Spencer Tracy, exercise (roller derby, run, hot yoga), and I LOVE EATING! I will eat practically anything, but I'm especially partial to sushi and Thai food.

My motto: Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee

My Anti-Motto: Good things come to those who wait.

The first movie star I ever had a crush on: Hugh Grant, I just loved that awkward charm!

My "celebs to make out with" list: Jon Hamm, Justin Timberlake

Last book I read without skimming any parts: Colum McMann's "Let the Great World Spin"

My most worn item of clothing: my Under Armour leggings, leggings in general

Beauty products that I hoard: Nivea, Burt's Bees chapstick, L'Oréal HydraFresh Toner, black eyeliner, and boroline, this Indian antiseptic cream that can cure pretty much any skin ailment

I smell like: Aveda rosemary mint
