Laura Rubino is a Toronto-based writer, revolutionary, and entrepreneur.
She thinks most things about the world as it is now need to change, and hopes to spend her life and career doing her part to affect that change. She works to inspire the people she interacts with to live authentically and make honest, ethical choices in their everyday lives - and works harder trying to do those things herself.
Laura has been writing since she could hold a pencil - poetry, short stories, screenplays, essays, and uncomfortably earnest emails to people she doesn’t know very well. She has also penned a novel based on her time living in Havana, Cuba, which explores modern first-world culture, gender politics, mental health, love, self-knowledge, and addiction.
Her most important project to date is being a loving mom to a young, free-spirited child who reminds her every day what’s important, wholesome and worthwhile. Her favourite hobby is letting His pure, unaffected energy lift her up and ground her in the present moment.
