Carla Ciccone is a writer from Canada, which means she calls it a toque, not a beanie, and will try her best to convince you to do the same.
She began writing professionally seven years ago when she realized in University that she had no other marketable skills. Since then, she has lived in Calgary, Rome, San Francisco and Toronto and has written for Glamour, Marie Claire, ELLE Canada and more. She also writes screenplays and has worked in TV, writing and producing Canadian shows that you’ve likely never seen.
A simple girl, a juice moustache was the only make up Carla wore until she turned 15. Her favorite things are Nutella, Bruce Springsteen, sunshine, and those lovely people who take the time to read author bios.
