What do I do?! Do I sanitise my current twitter?

I am a first year law student (UK system). I follow a few public policy / legal tweeters and I've even been retweeted by a barrister I admire. A solicitor at a small firm has just followed me after I followed a Student Legal Aid campaign account. However, my Twitter is not sanitary. I think I'm terribly witty and tweet occasionally inappropriate things about my life in between rants about social justice issues and the problems of the fields I want to go into / am interested in. What do I do?! Do I sanitise my current twitter? Start a public one solely for my future career (urgh)?! How do I navigate the road between a) having a personality and an intimate online presence and b) not alienating the conservative British legal establishment or black balling myself in my first few months of law?!

How can she sanitize her twitter? Any ideas? Should she? Let her know in the comments!
