I stayed up until 2 writing a list of editorial policies and then watched 10 minutes of "Celebrity Rehab" as a little treat before bed. Then when I woke up to order the chocolate-chip pancakes for breakfast (don't cook) I could still see both the full moon and the sun out the window.
I am not used to having writers in far-flung places who only communicate with you electronically so you need to write down your policies cause they won't all be there overhearing you say them to other editors and writers all day long. Maybe this will be more efficient in the long run?
Maybe I can sleep when I'm dead?
