New Police Report Shows Josh Duggar Confessed 3 Times To 7 Acts Of Child Molestation

I expect everyone is tired of hearing about this case, but these monstrous people are going to do their best on Fox News tonight to make you feel sorry for them.

Ugh, ugh, ugh, it just keeps getting worse. A new police report obtained by In Touch from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office reveals further details about Josh Duggar’s molestation confession when he was a teenager. This police report features fewer redactions than the previous report, and indicates that Josh actually confessed three times between March 2002 and March 2003 to molesting his sisters and a family friend, and that the parents waited approximately 15-16 months to contact any authorities, even though Josh’s behavior was growing worse and worse.

When he first confessed to father Jim Bob Duggar in March 2002, 14-yar-old Josh said that he had touched his sisters’ breasts and/or genital areas on “four or five” different occasions already, while they were sleeping. Nothing, apparently, was done to discipline Josh, though it seem like the girls were informed later as to what had happened.

In July 2002, Josh confessed again, this time to fondling the breasts of a family friend who was sleeping over on their couch. Josh was “disciplined” at this point, though it’s unclear how.

And then in March 2003, Josh, now 15, confessed to molesting his five-year-old sister’s vaginal area and chest while he read to her on the couch. Also around this time, Jim Bob says in the police report, Josh was seen putting his hand under his sister’s dress, though it’s not clear if it was the same sister.

If you’re keeping count, that’s seven incidents of child molestation in one year. At this point, Josh was sent to participate in a Christian program in Little Rock, Arkansas, consisting of “counseling” and hard labor.

He was there from March 2003 to July 2003. When he returned from his Christian work camp, Josh was sent to speak with a state trooper identified as Cpl. Hutchins, who gave him that “stern” talking to about what would happen if he returned to his “behavior.” (That same state trooper is currently in prison for possession of child pornography and says that Jim Bob Duggar did not inform him of the full extent of Josh’s abuse.) According to Jim Bob, Josh apologized to his sisters, they “forgave him” and it was concluded that Josh no longer “had any problem.”

By the 2006 rolled around, and a letter written by a family friend about the incidents of child molestation had been brought to the ACTUAL AUTHORITIES, the statute of limitations had already passed. But legal experts told In Touch that Jim Bob and Michelle could have faced six years in prison for their inaction.

I expect everyone is tired of hearing about this case, but given that these monstrous people are going to do their best on Fox News tonight to make you feel sorry for them, and Megyn Kelly has no intention of “cross-examining” them, let me just emphasize the facts of this case one more time:

  • Josh Duggar confessed to at least seven incidents of child molestation over the course of a year, when he was 14-15.
  • He admitted to four or five of those incidents in his first confession, after which Jim Bob Duggar did nothing.
  • One of the incidents involved molesting his five-year-old sister.
  • Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar did nothing really beyond telling Josh “that’s bad” for 12 months.
  • After Josh’s third confession and seventh incident of molestation, his parents sent him to a Christian work camp — not psychological counseling or anything, you know, LEGIT.
  • After he returned, Josh got a talking to by a now-known pedophile.
  • Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar never ever ever contacted the actual authorities. No one would know about this if they had their way.
  • This police report only exists because a letter written by a family friend detailing the abuse was found by another person, who called the police hotline in 2006 and an investigation was conducted. Because the statute of limitations had passed, nothing could be done to penalize Josh Duggar or his parents.

Just keep all of that in mind tonight, when Jim Bob and Michelle “share their hearts” with America.
