YOU ARE THE ADVICE COLUMNIST: A Question Regarding Birth Control

Am I just rocking the boat, or should is it finally time to say goodbye to my pill?

I am thirty, sexually active, and have been thinking about switching up my birth control. After 15 years of taking the pill I am thinking about an IUD. I do not want kids, ever. I have been on one of the four period a year pills and I like it. I have no real side affects, but I still think it might be time for something different. My doctor is of the opinion that both options are good. So the decision is mine. The pain of insertion does not worry me, but if I broke out I would not be happy. (Yes, I am vain). Am I just rocking the boat, or should is it finally time to say goodbye to my pill? Does anyone have experience switching? For information I would get the Skyla.
