The beauty look for Zac Posen's Japanese-inspired fall collection was decidedly rigid and severe, just like the tone backstage. The room was virtually silent, save for a few hellos and how are yous, when a Coco Rocha or a Maryna Linchuck walked in.
At one point, lead M.A.C makeup artist Kabuki commanded everyone's attention, announcing a slight change to the smoky liner. Lead hairstylist Luigi for John Frieda was similarly stern with his team.
Needless to say, there weren't many smiles or silly videos to be captured behind the scenes at Zac Posen, and you can't really "get the look."
Okay, sorry I'm being a bitch. The hair and makeup are gorgeous and so are the nails; they're blood red. I'm just mad because Lindsay Wixon wouldn't smile for me.
