There's nothing as exciting as when a celebrity takes out her Harry Winston earrings and dukes it out with the media.

President Obama is on the same page as Jada Pinkett Smith — at a recent Q and A with television anchors about the Affordable Health Care Act, the conversation shifted to diversity in Hollywood. The President echoed Mrs. Smith's point that diversity is important, adding it's about "everyone getting a fair shot," proof that the Gotham actress' Facebook video is making waves all the way up to the White House.

But before she requested you boycott the Oscars, she spoke out on divorce rumors, stuck up for her daughter, and had beef with a legendary rapper. Giiiirl, there is nothing as exciting as when a celebrity takes out her Harry Winston earrings and gets ready to duke it out verbally with the media. Real talk abounds.

June 2015 — Jada Slams Divorce Rumors

During an interview with ET, her open letter begins philosophically — “You would think that people would be rooting for you to stay together not to break up,” but then comes with a paper cut. Jada continued, “but you know what? People gotta make their money and...do what they gotta do." Then, she puts a little lemon juice on it, “and if people can go to sleep at night creating those stories, then hey, have it.” In social media terms, that statement went from a subtweet to a direct message to a blocked user.

May 2014 — Jada Defends Willow

When the Smiths’ daughter, then-13 year old Willow, posted a picture on Instagram of herself lounging on a bed with shirtless buddy Moises Arias, the Internet was in an uproar about its suggestive undertones. Jada talked tough to the media and let the mama bear claws out saying, “There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys [reporters] are projecting your trash onto it. And you’re acting like covert pedophiles, and that’s not cool.”

When Jada comes at you like Chris Hansen and tells you to have a seat on the stool, you know you’re in trouble. Do you feel that heat washing over your body? It’s called shame. SHAME ON YOU!

April 2013 — Jada Responds to Open Marriage Rumors

In a HuffPost Live interview, Jada revealed, "I've always told Will, 'You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be OK,’” and added, "Because at the end of the day, Will is his own man. I'm here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be and that's not for me to do for him. Or vice versa." This is Spousal Support 101, and class is in session.

July 2001 — Jane Confronts Ageism

On turning 30, Jada told People, "I'm finally feeling like a woman...Before, I was a little girl just trying to be a woman.” I feel like a little girl trying to be a woman when I wrap my mind around her maturity and poise in the face of a milestone often scrutinized by Hollywood."

June 1996 — Jada Has a Stand-Off with Tupac

She was actually good friends with the rap legend, but there were no "benefits." She told Howard Stern, "The only way I can put it is that the higher power did not want it at all. If Pac and I had any kind of sexual chemistry, we might have killed each other because we were both so passionate. And you know, we loved deeply," she reflected. "It was hard enough with us just being friends. It was volatile relationship." The two went on to give each other the silent treatment before his death in 1996.

December 2015 — Jada Slaps Some Sense into Will

I don’t want to call her violent — that’s how rumors get started! And we know she doesn’t tolerate rumors, — but she has been known to get handsy. On the morning of the announcement of his Golden Globe nomination, Will Smith told the NY Times, “My wife slapped me out of my sleep to wake me up and tell me,” adding, “She was just so ecstatic.” He confirmed on Fallon ““It was really strange because they come on the West Coast, it was at 5:30 in the morning. I was sleep. I felt like a slap on my ass and Jada said, ‘You got nominated for a Golden Globe!’ So I was like, that’s a strange way to learn.”

Yes, even when she is happy she is a force to be reckoned with.

How about you? Are you impressed with Jada's gumption or over it like Aunt Viv? Let me know in the comments!
