Having an organized and stylish place to keep your weed that you can leave out in plain sight is an option any adult deserves.
Moving is straight-up hell, I think we can all agree on that. So when I went through the process of moving house this past weekend, I felt ready to drop dead, and the effect that the move had on my dressing was pretty bizarre, too.
First of all, I spent moving day dressed in black, thermal long underwear topped with a cotton sweater and moto jacket. It was not a good look, but it was comfortable and I didn't have to worry about ruining any good clothes (since I ended up slicing my hands open a few times, I'm glad I avoided any blood stains on the nice stuff).
Now that I'm settled in though, getting dressed has sort of reverted back to normal, except for the fact that through all of the packing, moving, and unpacking, I've been finding a lot of wardrobe pieces that I'd completely forgotten I owned.
In some cases, this has been bad -- before the move, I donated over three bags of clothes to a thrift store in the hopes that paring things down would make me feel more organized, but it turns out there's still plenty left that I need to get rid of, and Summer clothing that didn't make it into vacuum bag storage a few months ago -- argh!
But on the positive flip side, I've found some great pieces that I've welcomed into the rotation, like these slightly high-waisted, wide-legged trousers.
How do you cope with frazzled dressing? And what's your best advice for unpacking after a crazy move? Let me know in the comments, but before that, let's check out last week's outfits.
Last week, I fell for liljables' gorgeous structured, striped neoprene skirt and the added detail of the lipstick brooch took my swooning even further.
I also loved softcastlemccormick's contribution to our discussion of comfy clothes, with these super-cute Matroyshka doll lounge pants. The added bonus of the kitty slightly out of frame and the fantastic pedicure (and toe rings! I want some toe rings) sealed the deal.
Thanks again for sharing your outfit photos and advice, and have an awesome weekend!
