I basically called my mom for help. Except when I say mom, I mean an esthetician.
I got home around midnight last night. Way late for a Wednesday, especially since it wasn't a date keeping me out. I was rehearsing with a band--I sing rill purty--for an upcoming charity event, and I was surprisingly pooped when we were done. (Does anyone under 70 say "pooped" as a synonym for tired besides me?)
I was so tired, in fact, that I made a pretty epic makeup-removing mistake.
I reached for my bottle of Vichy Purete Thermale One Step Cleanser (a "cleansing milk, toner and eye-makeup remover in one"), applied it to a cotton ball, and gently rubbed it all over my face. It wasn't until I went to put more on another cotton ball to remove my eye makeup that I realized I had actually doused my face in Color Wow One-Minute Transformation Styling Cream.
It's a similarly shaped bottle, and it's my current go-to frizz-fighter, but a facial cleanser IT IS NOT.
"OH CRAP!" I yelled, prompting Rufus, my younger dog, to leap off the bed and over to me as if he was going to rescue me from whatever I was freaking out about.
Interestingly enough, it definitely removed what was left of the blush and BB cream I'd been wearing; I just couldn't be sure what it deposited. (I guess my face won't be frizzy for a while, though.) So I did another round of cotton-ball smearing, this time with the originally intended product.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who's ever done something like this. Quick Question: Have you ever applied the totally wrong product?
