If you guys didn’t know, lips are very important this time
of year. Opportunities abound to kiss someone under the mistletoe and on New Year’s Eve. And it would be horrible to miss out on a
make-out session just because your lips are cracked, chapped and in pain.

It actually would be a weird situation--starting to
kiss someone and then having to stop because it just don’t feel good on your
lips. Also, I recently broke up with my boyfriend, which means I’m
taking extra care of my lips. I will not be seen sans lip balm! I’m ready
to make out!

So, basically, I’ve got a thing for lip balms and have
narrowed them down to my favorites at the moment: three balms for different occasions that
will save you from dry and uncomfortable situations.

Bare Minerals Jack Of All Trades Lip Balm

Your lips are chapped and you’re
crying because you don’t feel sexy since your lips feel like they’re falling
off your face. Enter tinted lip balm.

Bare Minerals Jack Of All Trades is a sheer tinted lip balm
that goes on really smooth. It comes in a lot of different colors, but definitely
get it in For Keeps; it's a rose tone and feels minty on the lips.

Your lips
will look fresh, made up and feel like they are about to get out of rehab. Try wearing it with a clean lid and sharp cat eye!

Rosebud Strawberry Lip Balm

You’re going on a date or a holiday party and there is a big
chance you’re going to make out with someone. You definitely want to be wearing
Rosebud Perfume Co. Strawberry Lip Balm.

I just purchased this because I fell
in love with the metal tin packaging and the smell. When wearing it, it feels like there are sweet strawberries
dancing on my lips that hydrate and soothe all the pain away.

And as an added
bonus, is that it tastes really great, so who ever you’re kissing will definitely
want to go in for seconds.

Burt's Bees Soothing Lip Balm

Even if you don’t want to make out, your lips should at least look kissable, right?

So if you’re going to have just one lip balm then this is it: Burt’s Bees Soothing Lip Balm with eucalyptus and menthol.

I’ve quickly mentioned this in my flu
makeup tutorial
(I wear it around my nose!). Once you put it on, it feels like you’re back in you’re
momma’s arms being rocked back and forth being put to bed. It’s that good.

Do you guys have any flavored and tinted lip balm
suggestions? I am currently obsessed.
