From Stained Skin to Fake Acne, The Beauty World Got Pretty Surreal this Week

And that's without even mentioning the surrealist makeup artist who's trending.

I don't usually have a lot of beauty news to share from my own life (I'm a woman of habit, what can I say?) but I will later on this week! Hm, I don't know how much to give away but regular readers can probably guess what I'm up to. Suffice it to say that I've decided it's well past time for another big hair change, and that you'll probably want to check out the xoJane Facebook page this Friday afternoon to witness it.

OK, now that I'm done being a tease, let's delve into this week's beauty news!

This runway show took "natural beauty" to a whole new level

Well, this is one way to commit to a trend. Malaysian designer Moto Guo went in an interesting direction for the beauty look of his debut collection at Milan Men's Fashion Week, bypassing no-makeup makeup and going straight to your worst teenage acne nightmare.

Well, at least it's different. If you want to get this look yourself, they used lip liner and an eye pencil to create it--that is, if you're not lucky enough to be able to recreate it naturally. As Rachel quipped, those of us with acne will finally be so on-trend!

The world's oldest bodybuilder just turned 80 and she has some advice for us

I'm not great at making myself exercise regularly. Luckily, it apparently really is never too late to start. PopSugar posted about Ernestine Shepherd, the world's oldest bodybuilder, last year and she just turned 80! This is a perfect excuse to check out her advice.

So the takeaway here is that I can wait until my 50s to start working out? Perfect. (I'm not waking up at 2:30 AM every morning no matter what, though.)

Daisy Ridley accidentally dyed her face yellow, still looks adorable

Who among us hasn't tried a DIY skincare recipe found online only to have disastrous results? Daisy Ridley recently proved that she too is a mere mortal with this hilarious Instagram video about her turmeric mishap.

It happens to the best of us. Also, I gotta say that I love how frank and humorous she is about her skincare issues (did you see her post last week?).

These are the most mind-blowing makeup artist creations I've seen yet

22 year old South Korean Dain Yoon has been getting a lot of attention online this week for her trippy makeup creations. She describes herself as an illusion artist and uses makeup on herself to create amazingly surrealist art.

Oh and look, she also did that crazy double face makeup that we all tried last Halloween, except she took it to the next level:

You can see more on her Instagram page @designdain, which I highly recommend checking out. It's all so weird and I LOVE it.
