LOTW: How To Channel Your Inner Snow Bunny

Whether you’re vacationing in Aspen or not.

I have never been on skis a day in my life, but I still find myself obsessed with achieving that “I’ve been hitting the slopes" snow bunny look. You know, windblown cheeks, slightly tanned skin, and soft lips--fresh and natural.

To start, I primed my lids and layered the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Yogurt (a metallic pink-Champagne) over the mobile lid. Next I took Milani Bella Gel Powder Eyeshadow in Bella Champagne and applied that from the mobile lid to just below the brow bone.

I didn’t want my liner to be too harsh or bold, so I opted to use the Jordana 12 HR Made to Last Liquid Eyeliner Pencil in Espresso Last and line straight across my lash liner. I also highlighted the inner corner of my eyes and brow bone with the shade Nude from my Lorac PRO Palette.

After I applied my foundation and concealer, I swept some Bella Champagne on my lower lash line and coated my upper lash line with CK One Color Mascara in Black.

To get a little faux-glow going, I applied TYRA By Tyra Banks Light in a Stick to the tops of my cheekbones and just above my brows, and swept bareMinerals Warmth All-Over Face Color to the outer edges of my forehead, in the hollows of my cheeks, and across my nose to give a bronzed effect.

Finally, I added some flush with TYRA By Tyra Banks Cheek in a Stick; dabbing it on the lips lightly for a more subtle effect, and concentrating the color mostly on the apples of my cheeks and blending it back to the hairline.

Now let’s check out the three looks I was digging from you guys last week:

  • Are you into that “just been skiing” look?
  • Do you feel left out by winter fashion and beauty trends because you live in a perpetually warm climate?
  • What's inspiring your makeup and beauty routine this winter?
