Since I'm a visual person I hardly ever remember the album title but I just remember what the album art looks like.
As I mentioned last week, I caught whatever crud is circulating, and I’m still battling it. My beauty routine tends to suffer when I’m sick because I can’t be bothered with it, but sometimes looking better is a step in the right direction to feeling better.
And nothing makes me feel better than adding a little bit of shimmer to my life. Ready?
After priming my eyelids, I added a shimmer cream shadow base to my lids, concentrating a bit extra to the center because that’s where I really want the look to pop.
Next, I applied a shimmery pink champagne eyeshadow over that cream shadow base.
With a stiff blending brush, I applied a cool, matte gray shadow to the outer third of my crease, carrying it down onto the outer third of my lid in a V shape.
I blended everything out by taking a matte, light taupe shadow on a fluffy blending brush and applying in windshield-wiper motions just above the crease.
Mixing a bit of charcoal gray and black shadow, I added a little definition to my upper lash line by lining it with a pencil brush.
To make the eyes pop a little bit more, I added a matte white shadow underneath my brows and a shimmery ivory shadow to the inner corner of my eyelids to highlight.
I kept the rest of the look simple with a soft pink blush and wine-stained lips:
Here are the looks I was loving from last week:
