LOTW: A Pink and Coral Sunset on Your Eyelids

I'm using colors I normally reserve for my cheeks on my eyes!

I typically avoid wearing pink or coral hues on my eyelids; in my mind, they belong on my cheeks or my lips. In an effort to break out of my own brain block, though, I decided to give these shades a whirl on my eyes!

Since I’m using a cream shadow on the lid, I used a fluffy blending brush and an orange/coral shade to add a transition color to just above my crease.

Using my finger, I apply a soft pink cream shadow to my mobile lid and blend upwards towards that transition shade.

For more definition, I added a bit of a rusty coral shade into my crease with a stiff blending brush, making sure to concentrate the majority of the color in the outer third of my crease.

These lid shades are pretty light, so I didn’t want to go too dark with the liner; instead, I lined my upper lash line with a bronze liner and then smudge it out with a dark brown matte eyeshadow, extending it into a soft wing.

For my lower lid, I applied a deep fuchsia eyeshadow all along the lower lash line and extended it under the dark brown wing.

I finished the eyes off with a couple of coats of black mascara and by filling in my brows with a chocolate brow pencil.

I wanted to tie the rest of my face in with my eyes, so after I applied my foundation and concealer, I added the same orange coral shade I used for my transition color to my cheeks and applied a sheer coral lip color to my lips.

I spent a lot of time trying to pick three favorite looks from last week’s thread and I just couldn’t, so this week you get SIX of my favorites!
