It's not all 10-step contours, people.
I get excited for Fashion Week every time because my Instagram is suddenly overflowing with fantastic beauty inspiration. There were a couple of looks that really jumped out at me this time, so I decided to take my favorite parts of both to create my LOTW.
The second look I’m incorporating is the bright pop of color in the inner corner of the eye featured at Marc Jacobs Fall 2016 show.
After priming my lids, I added a bright foiled purple eye shadow to the inner third of my eye lid with a stiff shader brush.
Next, I took a fluffy blending brush and a warm pink-brown shadow and swept it across the rest of my lid, blending out the line where I stopped the purple and sweeping up at an angle to create a smoky winged effect.
With a tiny angled liner brush, I lined right along my upper lash line with a matte black eye shadow for some definition.
I cleaned up the wing shape and any shadow fall out with a makeup remover wipe before filling in my brows and adding a shimmery ivory shadow to just the inner tear duct to highlight.
To finish the eyes, I swept some of the pink-brown shadow along my lower lash line and added mascara to my upper and lower lashes.
The whole look was capped off with a warm, shimmery blush and a berry lip.
Here are my favorite looks from last week:
