Since I'm a visual person I hardly ever remember the album title but I just remember what the album art looks like.
Everyone knows that Dior Haute Couture totally knows what's up. Of course, getting your hands on your very couture gown is probably something that most of us can only dream of. But that doesn't mean you can't get the runway look while hanging out in your living room watching reruns of Say Yes To The Dress.
There isn't much to how-to for this one. Grab yourself some cosmetic-grade glitter, lip gloss and you are good to go. Make sure it's non-toxic. If you don't want to risk ingesting glitter, then skip this one--or get creative with edible glitter.
This face is kept quite bare for this look, with some well-groomed eyebrows and a touch of silvery eyeshadow concentrated on the inner corners of the eye. This look is all about the mouth.
For my own face, I used some concealer and a small amount of matte bronzer. I used a Urban Decay's Zephyr eyeshadow in the corners of my eyes, skipped the mascara and curled my lashes.
Then I added a generous helping of lip balm. Using a lip brush, I applied the glitter onto my lips. You can apply some Ben Nye Final Seal with a brush on top to lock the glitter in.
Here is the final look:
I also tried it with other shades of glitter. You know how I love a lilac cheek? Well I used some pinkish/purplish glitter to accent it.
This isn't a look I'd wear every day, but for a party? Why not?
What do you think of glitter lips? Overkill, or just right? Let me know in the comments!
