Since I'm a visual person I hardly ever remember the album title but I just remember what the album art looks like.
I love to read all year round, but winter and summer are my two big reading seasons. Since it’s warm enough for me to swim now, I’ve been hitting the water almost every day, and I always have a book on hand for some poolside reading.
I recently started reading Neil Gaiman’s Stardust for the first time (it’s been on my “to read” list for a long time) and it got me thinking about what I would look like if I were a falling star. I haven’t actually gotten to the part in the book yet in which the falling star is described, but I did read enough to know that it’s a person.
I haven’t seen the movie either, so this is entirely my interpretation of a falling star personified. (Don’t kill me, fellow book nerds, if I get it wrong!)
For the rest of the look, I added a warm pink blush to just the apples of my cheeks (Tyra Cheek in a Stick) and lightly tapped it on my lips, as well topping it off with a frosty gold gloss (I rubbed the label off so I'm not sure of the brand/shade name — oops). I also added more Moonstone (this time in the Poured Creme formula) to the tops of my cheekbones and set everything with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Radiant Light.
Here are my favorite looks from last week:
What colors would you incorporate for your version of a falling star? What other literary characters do you draw inspiration from? Let me know in the comments below or on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. I'm also finally figuring out Snapchat (I think) so feel free to follow me (tander10)! I'm going to start posting LOTW Sneak Peeks and other beauty tidbits there.
