I just got back from a much-needed vacation to my home state of Florida. I saw a bunch of college friends, soaked up the 90-degree weather and ate a billion Publix subs. (If you don’t know what that is, then book a flight to any of these states. When you get there, order a chicken tender sub and thank me later.)

In order to get to Florida, I had to fly. When I moved to NYC, I drove the entire way because I had a lot of stuff and two cats, but I am never doing that again. (Sorry, North Carolina, but your state is SO boring to drive through).

My flight was at 8 a.m., but I left my apartment at 4:30 because I’m an idiot. When I woke up, I just threw on clothes. I didn’t do my makeup because whenever I do it that early, my eyes water and sting like crazy when I try to put on shadow/liner/mascara. I figured I could just do my makeup at the end of my flight and look perfect when I got off the plane to meet up with the BF’s parents.

I brought my makeup onto the plane, and I also brought my favorite product ever that has SAVED me on several flights: the DuWop Flight Stick.

You know how your skin gets really dried out on flights? It’s probably something to do with the air pressure/gross plane/other science-y stuff I don’t know about. But I do know that your skin doesn’t look plump and happy after a long air voyage.

The DuWop Flight Stick is a tiny tube, and when you open it, there’s a plastic lid that you have to put back on after every use to keep in the SUPER-HYDRATING POWERS. It’s full of antioxidants, and there's a tiny bit of caffeine to give your skin a jolt of energy and life.

The stick is tinted, so it evens out your complexion when you put it on, and it blends into many skin tones, kind of the same way a BB cream does.

Here it is on my skin:

I didn’t take photos of myself on/after the plane, so the real results will be a little different/better because right now I’m just putting it on my regular, non-flying skin. I know that you would be able to see how great this product is if I would have taken a photo on the plane, but I'm weird about using electronics in the air (and not sure about what I'm allowed to do), and didn't want the flight attendants to be suspicious. And when we landed, I was too consumed with getting my crap and getting off the plane (which takes, like, 10 years).

I really don’t know how there aren’t more products like this. Flying wreaks havoc on my skin, and the Flight Stick is the answer to all of my prayers.
