I've changed up my look!

I had a new white liquid liner to play with this week, so I decided to incorporate that into this week's look, of course!

I started with my foundation already done and my eyebrows filled in since I didn’t use any eyeshadow. I still primed my lids and set with translucent powder so my lids wouldn’t get oily throughout the day.

I thinly lined my upper lash line with a black liquid liner, sticking as close to the lashes as possible. Next, I took a white liquid liner and layered it just above the black.

With the black liquid liner on a small angled brush, I drew a wing and extended it about a third of the way in over my white line.

Finally, I traced above the white with that same black liquid liner and added a couple of coats of black mascara.

Things got a little weird on my left eye, so I went back in and evened both eyes as best as I could.

On my cheeks, I put a soft pink blush (Spellbound from Makeup Geek) and added a matte purple lipstick (Milani Matte Glam).

You probably noticed that my hair is looking different. I couldn’t resist changing it up after reading about Marci’s big hair change. Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:

Taking a cue from Kelly’s COTW, I mixed the L’Oreal Quick Blue Bleach with 30 volume developer (20 does nothing for me) and applied it to my ends (after sectioning my hair off). The last time I had my hair colored, I had it fade from blue-black to a kind of taupe/grey color, so I basically just applied the bleach to the areas of my hair that were the lighter shade and wrapped them in foil. I only left this on for about 10 minutes because the goal for me wasn’t to go completely white—just light enough that the purple would really pop.

Once I rinsed all of the bleach mixture out I applied Manic Panic Purple Haze all over the lightened bits and up through some of the darker areas as well so it would all blend well. I let that sit under a plastic shower cap for about 35 minutes before rinsing. I followed this up with a deep conditioner and a hair oil so my hair wouldn’t feel crispy.

I was really pleased with how it turned out and I love that it looks different depending on the lighting. The above picture was taken in natural light the below in florescent.

And here are my favorite looks from you guys last week:
