Since I'm a visual person I hardly ever remember the album title but I just remember what the album art looks like.
It's been a little while since I made a video for you guys, so I'm excited to be able to share one today. The topic? A new makeup tool from beautyblender (yes, the makeup sponge) called the liner.designer.
The liner.designer is available at Sephora for $16. You might think it doesn't seem like much at first, even when you factor in the included travel case (pictured below).
However, after giving it a whirl, I can safely say that I now consider the liner.designer a necessary tool to have on hand.
Curious? Check out my video demonstration below!
To reiterate a few key points from the video: this flexible little guy is really useful for drawing the perfect cat eye (I used this Tarte eyeliner in the video, by the way), avoiding mascara smudges, and guiding your lip liner. It has a little bit of a learning curve, but so far, I've been having a lot of fun playing around with the different edges and seeing what it can do. It's a very simple but very versatile tool, and I really like that it comes with the travel case; the suction cup and 5x magnification mirror are bound to come in handy.
Oh! And another neat thing that I left out was that you can rub the liner.designer in your hands for a few seconds to warm it up and then place it on your skin. It'll stick to your skin, allowing you to truly be hands-free while you do your makeup. I usually opt to just hold it, but I think having that option is pretty cool.
Overall, I'm impressed with how much thought went into this little tool.
- Will you try the liner.designer?
- Do you have any questions about it that I didn't address?
