NEED MORE THINGS: Hannah's Extremely Urgent Beauty Wishlist

I'll never have enough beauty products! Here are a few that I'm craving RIGHT. THIS. SECOND.

I love my job. I get to write about beauty products, something I get incredibly giddy and passionate about, and I get sent lots of products for free to try out so I can share the results with you. However, I don't get everything for free, and my order history is more than enough proof of that.

Being a beauty devotee is a slippery slope. There's always something new, something pretty, something shiny! (Have I mentioned I'm a bit of a magpie?) So while I have drawers full of lipsticks, that doesn't mean I'm going to cap off my collection anytime soon. Same goes for skincare, fragrance and just about everything else. I want it all! And I don't care if that makes me sound like a crazy hoarder!

Right now there are a couple things on my wishlist that I thought I'd share with you guys. Perhaps you can take a look at this list and pine along with me. I'd love to know what you're lusting after too, so be sure to let me know in the comments and we can wax philosophically about why you absolutely must have that eyeliner/cheek stain/moisturizer, NOW.

First on my wishlist, coming in at both "affordable" and "will be mine soon" (because I actually ordered it) is Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics' Lip Tar in Psycho ($16,

I ordered it recently from at the suggestion of my friend Nicolette without actually trying it on, but I trust her beauty expertise. When I finally got to a Sephora store and applied the color, I knew I'd made the right decision. It is the perfect poppy, bold orange-red, that applies like a gloss but stays put and has a matte finish (I don't do glossy).

So, while this is on its way to me, it's still on my wishlist because I have to WAIT to have it, and I am really impatient when it comes to mail. (Seriously, where are the DVDs I ordered from Barnes & Noble in October?!)

Next up in the "so close, and yet so far" line of wishing is Illamasqua's Nail Varnish in Phallic($14, I'll admit, the shade name is a selling point here for me. I'm not particularly sure why they chose to name a shimmery sapphire blue polish after a term that means "wang-esque," but I'll take it. I mean, if I were going to design a "phallic" nail polish it would be nowhere near as pretty as this, so kudos to them.

I tried to order this from Sephora the other night and was stopped at the checkout when it told me they can't ship the polish to Canada. But they have at it Canadian Sephora stores (I tried it on!) So silly. I guess I'll have to wait until I'm well enough again to head out and pick up a bottle for myself.

And finally in the "why, WHY WON'T YOU BE MINE, DAMNIT?!" category is SK-II's Facial Treatment Essence (starting at $100,, something I have been pining after for about 3 years now but I'm still too stubborn to shell out any money for. Used by the ever-ethereal and glowy Cate Blanchett to keep her skin perfect, this stuff is a veritable nectar of the gods for your skin. Also, according to Robert Pattinson, SK-II's facial masks made working on Twilight an enjoyable experience. Huh, how 'bout that.

Someday, you'll be mine. Someday. Until then, I've got my newly ordered Clarisonic waiting for me at my parents' house that I'll be using for the first time Saturday night after I've moved into my new apartment. Can you say PARTY? Yeah, I know how to do the weekends right.

What do you want? You can use this post to tell me about what beauty products you're wishing for, or just what you're wishing for in general right now. I'd like an avocado grilled cheese on pumpernickel and some muscle relaxants. Your turn.
