Do I Look Like Rita Ora To You?

People always tell me I do. So, duh. I just had to do this Rita Ora tutorial.

It’s been suggested a few times over the past year or so that I have a face and an aura that reminds some of British singer Rita Ora.

I had to do a Google Image search, but I TOTALLY get it you, guys. The platinum blonde hair. The red lipstick. The dark brows... I'm totally cool with this comparison, btw.

I decided to see just how alike we look by recreating Ms. Ora's signature look. Let's get started with that big, beautiful hair!

I began by curling my hair to create some serious vintage siren volume. This look ALWAYS boosts my confidence, and I'm going to need it if I want to recreate this girl's thunder!

Oh, guys, thank my lucky stars! I made a tutorial for this exact hairstyle a while back. Take a quick five and check that out and come right back.

Rita has a glow-y porcelain thing going on with her complexion. And isn't this convenient: I did a tutorial on how to create a glow-y base just last week. Check that out here.

So, we’ve got the flawless skin and the bombshell hair, now it's time to illuminate with Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter. Just use a dab and blend where you need. I highlight my cheekbones, my Cupid's bow, and the tip of my nose to give my bone structure a little oomph. I love the color, it has sort of a Champagne shimmer.

Rita and I have the platinum hair/dark eyebrow game on lock. Here's how I (we?) do it. First off, I brush my brows up and out to create a good idea of where exactly I need to fill in and where I need to create some angles. Using my trusty angled brush, I fill in any spots that need filling and then brush out once again, upward and outward.

In my Rita Ora inspiration images above, Rita is wearing subtle eye shadow and dramatic cat-eyes. Since I really wanted to pull out all the stops on this one, I curled my natural lashes, applied Givenchy Noir Couture 4 in 1 Mascara, grabbed some fake lashes, and filled in my winged liner afterward.

Make sure you create a real swoop upwards toward the brow! This is definitely a far more dramatic wing than I usually rock. Don't forget to pop some primer on your lids. I used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Tube in Sin.

I then apply some pale yellow or cream shadow to my lids and dust a little under my bottom lashes.

I went with Booty Call from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. To really open up my eyes, I also applied some white liner on my inner bottom lash line.

Rita Ora has those va-va-voom crimson lips that everyone dreams of. I went with good old Revlon Matte Lipstick in Really Red for that vintage look. If you want to splurge, you can’t go wrong with Lipstick Queen Velvet Rope in Brat Pack. It’s one of my all-time favorite luxury lipsticks.

What do you think? Did I come close? Who's your celebrity lookalike?
