If you still consider a strong eye and strong lip combo "rebellious."
When it comes to holiday looks, what could be more appropriate than makeup inspired by a winter wonderland? I don't usually wear white eye shadow or bright pink lipstick, but I loved this combination so much that I even rocked the look during the day and got tons of compliments. Now that's pretty cool.
Here's What I Used :
Start by fattening up your brows.
I’m team thick brows, and my natural ones are pretty thin. So, fill 'em up, I say! I use Dolce & Gabbana Brow Liner to take my brows from sad to happy.
Coat your lid and skirt your lower lash line with white eye shadow.
Using a fluffy eye shadow brush, sweep a generous amount of eye shadow in Snowy from the Lorac Pro Palette 2 all over your eyelid. Then, apply a little bit underneath your bottom lash line. This will make your eyes really pop.
Fluff up your lashes, line your bottom waterline, and throw on some falsies.
Apply a few coats of Bobbi Brown Everything Mascara to serve as a shelf for faux lashes (we'll get to that soon). Then draw a clean line on your bottom water line with Urban Decay’s 24/7 Eyeliner in Perversion so your eyes don’t look ghoulish.
Bond your faux lashes to your natural ones with mascara.
Lightly contour with BB cream and highlight your under-eyes.
The key to keeping this look glowing and clean is to go easy on the contouring. Skip the regular liquid foundation and soften the look with BB cream and illuminators. Smear Smashbox’s Camera Ready BB Cream Eyes on the bridge of your nose, under your eyes, and on your chin. Use a tiny bit of Jouer’s Luminizing Moisture Tint in Pearl for a pretty finish.
Dab a tiny bit of Bare Escentuals Eye Brightener in Luminous under your eyes and, blend, blend, blend.
Define your cheekbones with a luminous blush.
Sweep all the shades together from the Urban Decay Naked Flushed and apply to the hollows of your cheeks. It leaves the prettiest glow.
Sweep on a duo of pink lipstick and gloss.
I’ve concocted the perfect pink pairing: Mally Beauty’s Evercolor Satin Lipstick in Bright Pink plus Sisley Paris Phyto Lip Gloss in Fushia. BAM.
Gather hair into a tousled (or lightly curled) side pony.
Since you want the focus of this look to be the makeup, a textured side pony is the perfect solution. Hair that hasn't been washed for a day, which has a bit more texture, works best.
Part your hair, gather all of it to one side, and tie it up. For a bit more texture, wrap some pieces with a one-inch curling iron.
You can also add texture by twisting and tousling it. Feel free to use salt spray or texturizing spray.
And you’re all done. Frosty lids, pouty pink lips, and a fierce side pony: this is my kind of chill.
