Since Rimmel's spring line was my inspiration, I used: Glam'Eyes Trio Eyeshadow in Fever, Moisture Renew Lipgloss in Purple Rescue, and Glam'Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara in Black.

I started by using the Glam'Eyes Trio Eyeshadow set in Fever (about $5, drugstores). It's three shades of pinkish-purple, which I think are flattering for all eye-colours and the subtle shimmers brighten things up. I applied the palest shadow with a small brush to the inner corners of my eyes and the browbone to make my eyes look bigger and brighter. Next I applied the mid-tone purple all over my lid with a bigger, fluffier brush.

I applied the darkest shade to the outer corners of my upper and lower lashlines, as well as into the crease for some definition. I added a bit of black pencil liner on my upper lashline (try Rimmel's Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil in Jet Black).

The finishing touch was the Day 2 Night Mascara ($7.99, drugstores). This mascara has a special attachment so that you can use the brush for "Day," or to get super-separated, clean, long lashes. There's also the "Night" option, which pumps up the volume and thickens your lashes. I prefer long, so I stuck with two coats of "Day."

Lastly, I put on their Moisture Renew Gloss in Purple Rescue. I'm not usually a lip gloss girl, my crazy hair tends to blow around in the wind and then get gunked up in sticky formulas so I stick to balms or lipstick. But this gloss is not sticky! It's so smooth and moisturizing, full of vitamins and with an added dose of SPF, which makes it perfect for Summer days. This shade is a sheer pinky-plum that enhances that natural tone of your lips.

And that's it. It's cute, it's easy, it's Spring-y, and it's affordable. What's not to love?
