I'm convinced Brits do everything better; including beauty.

While Jane is in London doing posh expat things like dining with Gwyneth and Apple, let's have our own British party with some beauty products from accross the pond, shall we?

I grew up in London, and even though I looked like a complete chav when I lived there, some of the best in beauty really does come from the UK. But before we talk products, look at Cheryl Cole, a vision of British beauty.

Some might argue that Kate Middleton is the queen (or Dutchess) of British beauty, but lately "understated" and "tasteful" have been putting me to sleep. I ghostwrote a column for some makeup artist detailing each of Kate's different looks and homegirl lied. Kate's makeup is always the same!

On the other end of the spectrum however is Cheryl. I love everything about her, you see, from her heavily made-up face to her penchant for running back to that prick Ashley Cole. Because we've all been there. Hiding under too much shimmery bronzer and nude lipgloss, still in love with a cheating ex. But I won't get into that right now!

Instead, here are some of the very best products from England that Cheryl Cole may or may not like as well:

Burberry Lip Cover Lipstick, $30: Embossed in Burberry's  signature plaid, this lipstick is more than makeup, it's a luxe accessory too. Nude Cashmere is my favorite hue, perfect for making lips lovely and pale, but still full and hydrated. Of course everyone's "nude" is different.

Nails Inc. Nail Polish, $10: Nails Inc. is a sleek London manicure bar with locations all over the city and its own gorgeous line of polishes. All the colors and finishes are really unusual, like Hyde Park Gate, a glossy mint green and Electric Lane, a glitter topcoat with a crackle finish.

Cowshed Knackered Cow Relaxing Body Lotion, $33: Made in England, Cowshed products are finally available stateside at exclusive spots like the spa at Soho House. I can't get enough of this all natural Lavender and eucalyptus-scented body lotion. Slather it on before hitting the sheets, then lie back and think of England.

Jo Malone Grapefruit Cologne, $55: London beauty brand Jo Malone makes some of the chicest candles and home fragrances around, and their cologne is no different. Layer the scents to create your own custom fragrance or spritz one on solo. I like Grapefruit and apparently those who wear the citrus aroma are perceived to be 10 years younger. You can't argue with that can you?

Now tell me about your favorite British beauty products! Or your favorite British anything. I never tire of talking about England.
