Jillian Mourning is a finalist for the 2013 DoSomething Awards on July 31, which airs live on VH1 at 8p.m.

Jillian graduated on the chancellor’s list and cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in International Studies and German with a minor in Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights. During her final semester she focused on a thesis on human trafficking and sexual slavery. She also completed a study abroad program at the Goethe Institute in Berlin, Germany for German language where she lived in Berlin for months and traveled around Germany and other countries in Eastern Europe visiting and studying concentration and extermination camps.
In college, Jillian was actively involved in STAND, German Club, the German Language and Culture Foundation, where she even gave their acceptance speech for the Richard Vinroot International Achievement Award at the Mayor’s International Cabinet Awards (MICA) in May of 2012. She is signed with Marilyn’s Talent in Greensboro, NC and Mega Models in Miami, FL. She is also a member of Forest Hill Church, where she belongs to a life group and volunteers for Falcon Fun Night and other community activities. She resides in Charlotte, NC with her dog Mika and cat Dexter.
She founded All We Want Is LOVE in July of 2012 to combat human trafficking due to her studies and being a victim of sex trafficking at 19 years old. She quickly realized the desperate need for education, empowerment, and emotional liberation for victims of trafficking.
