Daisy Buchanan

I started out writing for a teen mag, and after four awesome years of hanging out with pop stars and being asked if I made up the problem page (I didn’t - we weren’t allowed) About two months ago I decided to go freelance, which is terrifying and amazing. I have a peripatetic publishing presence and have written for Sabotage Times, Awesome Women of Twitter, The Vagenda, Huffington Post, Entertainmentwise, Bliss, Grazia, Times Online, Hi Mag, the Independent and an astonishing number of mortgage magazines. I’ve just written a book about Made In Chelsea, which will be out soon. I interview celebrities sometimes. Most recently, Kermit the Frog. I’m still walking on air.

What I Do, Job Wise: I write for fun and profit.

What I Do, Fun Wise: Tweet, dance to indie pop, read, hunt for 1940s pulp fiction, make pies.

My motto: If everything goes horribly wrong, go and sit on the steps of the Gare du Nord in a fur coat and something nice will happen, as demonstrated by Linda in The Pursuit of Love.

My anti motto: Everything happens for a reason.

Last Book I Read Without Skimming Any Parts: The Old Man And Me by Elaine Dundy.
