Analeed Marcus

Analeed Marcus is an award-winning international affairs and politics reporter who has written for several news publications across the country. She worked for the White House under two U.S. presidents covering international aid and development. She suffers from crippling wanderlust that has led her skippingly to such places as Iraq, Egypt, Spain, South Africa and Belize, which is the happy place she goes to in her head when confronted with harsh reality. She has reported on all manner of life, covering puppy Halloween costumes and having awkward confrontations with foreign and domestic presidents for newspapers in Las Vegas, Chicago, Florida, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C. She used to think in long-form narrative until Facebook came around and now only thinks in short status blurbs.
