In one year, I got pregnant with my boyfriend and I gave birth with my girlfriend.
No forgetting to take my pills, remove or insert a contraceptive ring, or deal with the visits for the shot or an insertion of an implant. 8-10 years of efficacy? Less than 1% failure rate? What's not to love?

kim kardashian
Now that Kim is with child, the blaring, critical headlines about her body have reached a nauseating fever pitch.
A couple years ago, on my commute to work, I was met by a poster featuring a glum-faced woman staring blankly at me, “I thought life would be like the way it was before,” it read. Then: “Abortion changes you.” No, it didn’t, I remember thinking at the time. Speak for yourself.
Every now and then something surges inside me and I think, that’s a feeling. But then it goes away.
I talk to my mother on my way to the gym. “I’m late for my period,” I tell her. “I don’t want to get my hopes up but I’m just saying, I’m late. Do you think it’s OK for me to work out?”

body police
child birth
In mere seconds, shit got chaotic, people seemed slightly panicked, and before I knew it, the kitchen was filled with excited party guests surrounding me as I gushed womb juices on a borrowed towel. I have to admit it was nice to be the center of attention.
