Being forced to take pictures of myself constantly started to breed more self-confidence, and looking at those pictures, I stopped seeing the things I used to see that I hated.
I had a great-grandmother named Lillian Violet. She died 10 years before I was born, and all I know of her personally comes from what little my father remembers. But I have these pictures.
