My boyfriend is always the one to initiate sex. But he pretty much just asks “Do you wanna do it?” which isn’t exactly a turn-on. But I find it hard to initiate it myself. I have ideas in my head of interrupting him while he’s playing video games by sexily climbing onto his lap. I have ideas of just walking into the room naked. I have ideas of just being in bed late at night and starting to kiss him. But I can’t. I have a hobby writing erotic fiction, but I don’t have the confidence to even initiate sex with my own boyfriend even though we’ve been together for two years. I don’t think it’s fear of getting shut down, because he’s pretty much always up for sex. But I always end up just looking at him, smiling, until he’s says, “What are you smiling about...wanna do it?”
How do I gain more confidence so that I can make the first move. And how do I make him say something other than “Do you wanna do it?” My sex life is suffering because of this and I don’t like it!
