Obnoxiously Objectifying Thursday: Timothy Olyphant

The ridiculously named Timothy Olyphant might not quite be A-list by Hollywood standards, but when you check out his CV, it’s amazing how long he’s been around and quite how many movies he’s got under his belt. Why, I’d like to see what else is under his belt (groan, I’m ashamed, kill me now).

I love a man with a gun. I don’t really, but he just happens to be holding one.

Now I’ve been a fan of Olyphant’s work for some time now. He played one of the killers in Scream 2, a serious badass dealer in Go, but where he really got me, and made me rub my hands up and down my thighs Shooting Stars-style was in Deadwood. He played the soft-spoken, kind-hearted sheriff (who could curse like the best of them) with some truly fantastic facial hair. And the hat, lord don’t get me started on the cowboy hat.

No one wears a 10 gallon hat quite like this man. And I wouldn’t even mind if he got cappuccino foam stuck on that lovely tache.

Lately he’s been on a 5USA as yet another sheriff in the Yank drama Justified. I’m not sure if it’s the Stetsons I’m attracted to, or the man wearing them. No, no, it’s him. I remember watching Die Hard 4.0 and rooting for Olyphant who played the baddie, cause he just has a very calm, yet slightly menacing presence. Shit, is it wrong that I find that sexy?

Another show, another hat. Swoon Timmy, you make me swoon.

So feast your eyes on Timothy, who I think we should just call Tim, and let me know, hat or no hat? That Stetson doing it for you ladies like it does it for me?
