Generally at the shows, there's very little that actually new. Sometimes fashion takes a huge step forward, but more ofter than not there's re-invention and very litlle inovations happens. People love to say "Everything has been done before" and I'll admit to feeeling that way too. But then the Rodarte sisters come along and destroy that cynical mantra with SAND.
I've been doing this for 15 years and I've never seen use sand used in a shoe design. The inspiration for the collection was Austrailia so the sand ties into that. Laura and Kate made something truly new and it's so beautiful.
Rodarte first shoe collection which will be availble with retailors in July and are set to retail for $995 to more than $1,500.
