Pretend it's Throwback Thursday!

I never really thought of myself as a sneakers kind of person. I've had many pairs of Chucks through the years, and I still wear 'em, and when it comes to working out I've got my trusty Nikes ... but running shoes as a fashion statement? I never really got it.

Then I tried on a pair of Sauconys, the "Jazz Original" style, a style that's been around since the '70s, and I suddenly got it. First off, they're comfy as all get out. I'm on my feet a lot so comfort is key.

So comfy, and currently on sale!

Plus, they're just straight-up cute. They're casual enough that they aren't shouting "Look at me, I'm a pair of sneakers!" but the hit of pink and the suede keep them on the stylish side. So I guess I'm hooked now, and I want more pairs. An addiction is born!

Hi, everybody!

Hi, everybody!

I kept the throwback going with my faded old Mickey Mouse ringer tee, a vintage belt and some Current/Elliott denim in a deep indigo wash.

Do you care about sneakers at all? Show me your favourite pair if you've got 'em!

In the meantime, you guys shared a lot of cute looks last week (as per usual!) and I've picked some of my favourites to have another look at.

Our Kelly always works it out, and the ensemble below was no exception. I'm particularly jealous of those Zara heels, which are currently sold out in my size on the Canadian site. Sad face emoji.

Stripes and lace-ups, oh my.

I also loved the simple sophistication of derekgrl's wide-legged pant look. It's making me think I need to introduce more tan into my wardrobe because, as a neutral, it's a little less harsh than black. Great for transitioning into Fall.

Clean lines + neutrals = always a win.

  • What did you wear this week?
  • Does it still feel like Summer where you are?
  • Buy anything for your Fall wardrobe?

Spill the beans!
