Etsy shop Hissyfit makes amazing plus-sized clothing from vintage and repurposed fabric. If you’ve ever shopped for plus size vintage, you know that finding items in larger sizes AND decent condition is practically a “Last Crusade”-level undertaking. And even when I do find something, I have to deal with my own personal weirdness with regard to wearing something that a total stranger has worn before me. Problem solved: Hissyfit builds one-of-a-kind new clothes from old fabric, and the results are inspiring me to make grabby hands at my monitor.
For those of us who can't always get to an outstanding plus-size vintage brick-and-mortar store, or who are simply sized out of even most larger vintage, Hissyfit is an incredible find.
