Since I'm a visual person I hardly ever remember the album title but I just remember what the album art looks like.
Olive green eyeshadow is something that I love on my eyes, but I don’t wear it often enough because, frankly, I forget about it. I’m also a big fan of burgundy, so why not throw the two together?
To start, I applied a metallic olive green loose pigment onto primed lids using a small, dense eyeshadow brush.
After wetting my brush with rosewater spray, I applied a blue/brown duochrome pigment over the top of the olive, concentrating especially on the outer third of the lid.
Next, I applied a matte olive shade to the outer third of my lid and swept it back and forth in the crease.
With a black gel liner, I tight-lined my upper lash line and (after applying my foundation) applied that same gel liner to my lower lash line.
With the same stiff blending brush I used early (wiped off), I applied a shimmery burgundy eyeshadow over the top of the lower liner, sweeping up into a reverse cat eye.
A couple of coats of mascara on the top lashes, a single coat of mascara on the lower lashes, and filled in brows completed the eyes.
Normally, when I do dramatic eyes, I like to go a little softer everywhere else, but while I stuck with a nude-ish blush, I went ahead and did wine lips for a more dramatic look.
Here are my favorite looks from last week:
