The beauty world is really good about telling us which products we need, how to fix this, how to change that. And while this can get exhausting, I've always found joy in transforming myself, playing with makeup and experimenting with various products and colors.

That said, there will always be those days when I can't get out of the house fast enough and can't be bothered.

On those days, should I opt to wear makeup at all (and I almost always do), I typically throw on some tinted moisturizer or BB cream, a little blush and mascara. But shaping and filling in my brows? Yeah... that's just not going to happen. I find it a tedious chore and just accept the sparse brow life.

However, ladies and gentlemen, that might be changing for me thanks to Ciaté...

Meet Ciaté's Insta Brow Tinted Brow Gel, the lazy girl's two-minute brow solution.

It comes in three different shades: blonde, brown and dark brown. Even as a super-pale blonde lady, though, I've found that the brown and dark brown work best for me. I imagine the blonde would be ideal for someone who doesn't want much color at all, but instead wants to mostly just shape and tame.

To use, you twist the base of the wand and then product oozes out in between the short bristles at the top. From there, you comb your brows as usual. The product coats your brows in color and helps you shape them at the same time. The product also gets places on the skin underneath your brows, which helps to fill them in.

My primary complaint is that the bristles are hard, but you need to apply pressure in order to place the color on your brows. This results in a little bit of red skin, which you can see in the image above.

I should note, however, that my skin turns red very easily, and it's also very pale, so you may have a different experience. Still, I usually use the Insta Brow first and then let my skin calm down as I apply the rest of my makeup.

The results are surprisingly natural, and the fact that it took under a minute to do both brows is pretty damn impressive. What makes this even more of a win for me is that the product helps your brows stay in place all day long. That means no reapplication or re-taming throughout the day.
