Since I'm a visual person I hardly ever remember the album title but I just remember what the album art looks like.
A visit to Sephora ago, I decided that I needed to shake up my makeup. There is nothing wrong with my everyday face--concealer, foundation (sometimes), mascara and the works--but I got the three-month itch.
Every three months, a stirring rises in my system and I feel a need to change, whether it's a new lipstick, a haircut or, in this case, colored eyeliner.
It started with my stalking Solange Knowles. I am obsessed with her makeup, and I figured, hey, we’re born a day apart, we’re the same age and we’ve got Nutella skin. If she can rock some bright-ass eyeliner, so can I. And we already know anybody can wear blue eyeshadow as well as Singapore Airlines’ flight attendants can!
Or so I thought.
I stepped into Sephora with a mission: go bright or go home. After trying multiple shades and brands on my skin, I emerged with a Stila Sparkle Waterproof Eyeliner in Bora Bora. It was not only the first glitter eyeliner I’ve ever bought, it’s also bright blue.
Here’s how it looks like on my eyes:
What do you think? Do it, or chuck it?
