The Two Multitasking Products That Are Making My Skin Look Freakishly Perfect

I'm mixing them together to create the most amazing toner/serum/primer/moisturizer/eye cream/foundation/concealer EVER.

My skin has not been cooperating with me lately. I don't know if it has to do with the random vitamin concoctions I've been taking, or with the fact that I listen to Radiolab every night before I sleep, causing my headphones to stick firmly to my face by the drool that has turned itself into a comedogenic cheek paste. I am pretty sure it is the latter.

Anyway, I've been doing some things to attempt to rectify this by 1) not using headphones before bed and 2) simplifying my beauty routine.

To be honest, I am not typically into all-in-one things. Convertible dresses? I'll pass. Shampoo and conditioner in one? Lol.

In this case, these all-in-ones really stand out.

I have been using this All-In-One Moisturizer by Mereadesso, which apparently is a toner, serum, primer, day cream, night cream, and eye cream in one. Whew.

While I can't vouch for it's effectiveness at all of the above, I do know that it is one beautiful moisturizer. If you are the lazy type--and I am mostly pointing to myself here--this is the one for you.

It absorbs beautifully into the skin and is full of lovely ingredients that cause no reaction to my sensitive skin. Also, makeup applies beautifully on top (and mixed with it) as I am about to show you below. It smells really lovely too--very refreshing. The site describes it as citrusy, but I almost find it more calming, like freshly washed sheets.

It's not cheap, and I will admit, I do tend to lean towards the department-store spectrum end of skincare, but if you're going to use this product as intended (toner, primer, serum, day cream, night cream, eye cream!), then I think it's well worth the price tag.

The second product that is making my makeup routine all the more simple is Ardency Inn Americana Custom Coverage Concentrate. This stuff is SO good. I have been using it as both my concealer and base, and hopefully when my skin gets back to normal, as a tinted moisturizer.

The concentrate is designed to be thinned out with your regular moisturizer, so you can choose the opacity of the coverage you need. Yes, you can do this with your regular concealer--I've done it too--but the results are just not the same. The Custom Coverage Concentrate is the perfect consistency and pigmentation for mixing.

This stuff is extremely pigmented, so you can also use the product alone as a concealer for under the eyes and spots.

Every concealer creases on me, so I'm not going to say this stuff is creaseless. However, the creasing is absolutely minimal and the coverage is so natural. I adore this product and have been shunning all other concealers and foundations in place of this one wonder product. I have felt secure in knowing that these awful bumps can actually be camouflaged without looking cakey and unnatural.

So tell me, are you into multi-purpose products? Which ones should I be checking out?
