Oh, don't pretend like you don't have one!
Hi guys! Today I am answering a question about dealing with stress, something I know we all struggle with from time to time. If you’re having a hard time coping with stress, obviously I am not saying that ALL you need to worry about is your beauty. But I know first-hand that the last thing you need when you’re super-stressed is a whole bunch of really painful zits, or your hair falling out.
A few other things I didn’t have time to mention:
• I didn’t talk about washing your face and moisturising, because you guys are already doing that, RIGHT??? If not, make sure that you’re especially vigilant about this during stressful times. Don’t add bacterial breakouts on top of hormonal breakouts by not caring for your skin.
• Sometimes the source of our stress is other people. It’s really good to set boundaries in personal relationships, and it’s never too late to start. It doesn’t mean that you don’t care about that person--sometimes you just need to have some limits with them. Take care of yourself.
• You can’t control everything. Some sources of stress are always going to be there--if you have a high-stress job, it isn’t like you can magic away the stress and remain employed. If you have family issues, wishing them away won’t actually change them. All you can do is control how you react to it and how you meet challenges as they come.
• If you’re having a really bad time, health-wise, SEE YOUR DOCTOR. PLEASE. THIS NEEDS REPEATING BECAUSE IT IS SO IMPORTANT. I should know, because I’ve stressed my way into a stomach ulcer.
Also: Guys, I was so excited about my new jacket that I FORGOT TO CUT OFF THE TAG AND IT IS SHOWING IN THE VIDEO. I cannot believe I didn't notice until I was done editing! Everyone please make fun of me in the comments.
