Drew Barrymore and Tara Reid have more in common than you may think. Both were born in 1975. Both started acting as kids. Both have openly discussed their respective breast surgeries.

OK, so, that’s not that much in common. But this week, we can add one more commonality to the list: fragrance launches!

Actress, producer, wife, mom, and all-around cool chick Barrymore has announced that her Walmart-exclusive cosmetics line, Flower, will welcome three eau de parfums to its current collection of makeup and nail polish.

Don’t let the brand’s name fool you. While there are plenty of floral notes in these scents, the layers are way more dynamic than just getting smacked in the face with a bouquet of flowers.

Pictured on the bottom in the above photo, Cherished is a blend of cotton musk, dew, lily of the valley, iris, sandalwood, Tahitian vanilla, and cassis. Sultry, in the middle, brings together jasmine, pink pepper, plum, Madagascar vanilla, blackberry, cranberry, and patchouli. Radiant is arguably the most flowery scent in the Flower fragrance collection, with cabbage rose, pink peony, magnolia, bergamot, and pink amber.

They can be worn alone or layered, which is an option that won’t empty your wallet since the rollerballs and sprays will be priced from $10 to $25. You’ll have to wait until October to buy them, though.

What you don’t have to wait to spend $25 on is Tara Reid’s new fragrance, SHARK by Tara.

Yes, that’s right: after starring in Syfy’s weirdly successful Sharknado and Sharknado 2: The Second One (which is actually going to be in theaters for one night on August 21), Reid is riding this beast to the bank (maybe) with a shark-themed scent.

Now, if this were a Demeter fragrance, it would probably have notes of chum, saltwater, and sharkskin; but instead, it’s a fresh, feminine scent that doesn’t evoke any thoughts of marine predators. You’ll pick up on mint, violet, lemon, jasmine, tuberose, muguet, blue rose, amber, and musk.

The perfume’s page on tarareid.com explains that it “incorporates a plethora of ‘lavender’ colored flowers, which is Tara’s favorite color, making them a true fit for SHARK by Tara.” Sure! Just go with it.

Do you think you’ll buy any of these fragrances? What’s your favorite recent celebrity perfume launch?
